Current Projects
Each of these projects reflects AXEA’s dedication to delivering innovative, sustainable, and high-quality solutions across residential, commercial, and pre-construction services.

Rugby Road
Located in the charming Ditmas Park neighborhood of Brooklyn, Rugby Road is a full-scale renovation of a historic 1915 home. Once completed, this project will seamlessly blend the timeless character of its historic roots with modern design elements. Built with Passive House principles, the home will prioritize durability, energy efficiency, and enhanced indoor air quality. This approach ensures a healthier, more sustainable living environment that will serve its residents for generations to come.
West 207th Street
Situated in a pre-war co-op building in Manhattan’s beautiful Inwood neighborhood, this project involves combining two neighboring apartment units into a spacious three-bedroom, three-bathroom residence. AXEA has been involved from the early design stages, collaborating closely with the architect and owners to streamline the project. This proactive approach not only helps the client stay within budget but also accelerates the overall process while delivering a thoughtfully designed living space.
Rutland Road
Set within a classic Brooklyn townhouse, the Rutland Road project focuses on the remodel of the second-floor bathroom and dressing room, elevating these private spaces with luxurious, high-end finishes. Featuring Waterworks fixtures, Fireclay tile, and custom millwork throughout, the design reflects a careful balance of craftsmanship and elegance. Brought in post-design, AXEA is working closely with the client and architect to bring this beautiful vision to life, ensuring every detail is executed with precision and care. The result will be a refined retreat that seamlessly blends function with timeless sophistication.
Stamford, Connecticut
Located in the picturesque residential neighborhood of Stamford, Connecticut, this project involves the full-scale renovation and expansion of a 1950s home. Once complete, the residence will grow from approximately 3,000 to nearly 4,000 square feet, transforming into a high-performance home built to Passive House standards. The design emphasizes durability, energy efficiency, and exceptional indoor air quality, incorporating premium windows, insulation, and building materials throughout. The result will be a refined, future-focused home that combines comfort, performance, and timeless design.
Howard Beach
Set within a classic garden-style co-op in Howard Beach, this project is a full-gut renovation that reimagines the apartment for modern living. AXEA completely renovated the kitchen and bathroom with new finishes tailored to the client’s lifestyle while upgrading the electrical service, lighting, and overall functionality of the space. The result is a thoughtfully refreshed home that blends efficiency, comfort, and contemporary design.
Battery Park City
Situated in a luxury high-rise in Lower Manhattan, the Battery Park City project focuses on the renovation of two bathrooms to bring the apartment up to modern standards. AXEA was brought on to reconfigure layouts, install new high-end finishes, and address mechanical improvements, including HVAC balancing and leak repairs. The scope combines precision construction with design sensitivity, ensuring the finished spaces reflect both sophistication and performance within this premier downtown residence.

58th Street
58th Street marks an interior fit-out project for a new pottery studio within the iconic Brooklyn Army Terminal. The design thoughtfully separates the space into two distinct areas: a vibrant sales floor and a fully equipped working studio. Despite its compact size, the project showcases innovative and environmentally friendly materials, reflecting our commitment to sustainable practices while creating a functional and inviting space.
Grand Concourse
Located in the Bronx, the Grand Concourse project centers around revitalizing a community-focused building operated by a local non-profit. AXEA was engaged to work hand-in-hand with the architect and expediter to navigate and resolve longstanding building violations, paving the way for full use and enjoyment of the space. This collaborative effort ensures that the organization can continue its important work within a building that is not only beautiful but also fully compliant and safe. Through careful coordination and attention to detail, the project reflects our commitment to supporting spaces that serve and strengthen the community.

Java Street
The Java Street Project exemplifies AXEA’s comprehensive pre-construction expertise. Engaged early in the process, we collaborated with the ownership team, architects, and engineers to deliver a range of critical services, including constructability analysis, cost estimating, cash flow analysis, bid packaging, logistics planning, subcontractor screening, and risk management. By prioritizing meticulous pre-construction planning, we help ensure the project is well-positioned for success—on budget, on schedule, and with uncompromised quality. Additionally, we are exploring the feasibility of incorporating Passive House principles into the project, providing a cost comparison to help the ownership team make informed decisions about sustainability.
